Work schedule will be Full-time on the Evening Night shift, 7p to 7a/weekends variable.
Summary:
The Pediatric Emergency Department / Pediatric Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides high-quality, family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents across both acute emergency and inpatient settings at Children’s of Alabama. This unique hybrid position offers the opportunity to practice in two fast-paced, collaborative environments—supporting both the Emergency Department and a Pediatric Medical-Surgical Unit.
The nurse in this role demonstrates adaptability, critical thinking, and a strong commitment to the mission of Children’s of Alabama: to provide the finest pediatric health services in the region and to champion the well-being of all children.
Other information:
- Current RN license in the State of Alabama.
Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
* Basic Life Support
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing
Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
