Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day shift, Monday-Friday or as needed.
Summary:
Responsible for the oversight and management of assigned outpatient specialty care areas at Children's Hospital and Children's South. Manages all operational activities including staffing, performance review, inter-departmental communications, patient flow, and performance improvement activities. Maintains overall responsibility for the operating budget for assigned areas. Responsible for regulatory compliance (JC, HIPAA and other accrediting and certifying bodies). Manages the strategic planning process for Ambulatory Operations' service lines and works with the UAB Department of pediatrics and Surgery to review activities within areas of responsibility. Responsible for developing relationships with COA physicians to address specialty care issues and for developing business plans related to Ambulatory Operations.
Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
    - Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
    - Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing
* Masters Degree in Business
Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* 10 Years Staff Level
* 5 Years Supervisor Level
