Work schedule will be Part-time Benefits Ineligible on the Day Shift, Monday -Friday.

Summary:

The Children's of Alabama Foundation is seeking a current college student, current graduate student, or recent college graduate interested in providing support with community and corporate engagement. In return, Children's will provide an opportunity for the intern to gain experience in areas such as fundraising, philanthropy, and the day-today operations of the only freestanding pediatric hospital in the state. The Foundation Intern will report to the Resource Development Coordinator and will support the entire Foundation team.

  • Must currently be enrolled in advanced level of education in a coordinating field of study. 3.0 or higher GPA required

The Children’s of Alabama Foundation is the nonprofit fundraising arm of the hospital, dedicated to securing and responsibly managing charitable support to advance the hospital’s mission to provide the finest pediatric health services to all children in an environment that fosters excellence in research and medical education. The Foundation team is highly engaged and forward-facing in the community – implementing fundraising activities and working with individuals, families, community groups, corporations and foundations from across the state to secure philanthropic support that helps improve patient care, advance medical research and provide programs that support children and families facing a medical journey.
