In ENT Clinic South at Children's South Hoover

Work schedule will be Part-time Benefits Ineligible on the Day Shift, varies Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 20hrs/wk.

Summary:
Works under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide assistive care and communication for patients and their families in outpatient specialty clinics, as well as support for team members, professional and technical staff, and visitors. Provides safe, age-appropriate care and contributes to efficient clinic operations.

Knowledge of using general Office Equipment, Calculator, Fax Machine, Copy Machine Personal Computer. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access or Excel preferred, also Alpha. Knowledge of how to use a Printer Knowledge of how to use other related equipment

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Basic Life Support

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* 1 Year staff level clerical experience
* Candidate must have at least one of the following:
Six months of patient care experience within the last two years
Enrolled in a medical related college programs and in clinical rotation
CNA, CMA, PCT or EMT certification
