Work schedule will be Full Time on the Day shift, Regular.
Summary:
Acts as a liaison between medical staff and Patient Registration staff in the Outpatient Clinics, Admitting, Surgery and ancillary services. Communicates potential conflicts or issues while fulfilling the expectations of the medical staff to the nursing staff in charge and/or manager. Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Patient Registration tasks including, but not limited to, patient registration, discharge activities, and admissions. Performs Quality Assurance Activities as indicated.

Children’s of Alabama clinical therapy locations include the Main Downtown Campus and offsite facilities conveniently located in Homewood, Al. Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Children's Behavioral Health, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy pre-registration verification, scheduling and follow up appointments, co-pay collection, account verification and updates. Responsible for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Must be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed to meet customer needs.
