Main Campus Children's of Alabama Day shift Patient Registration Therapies Req #: 325447 Location Birmingham, Alabama Schedule Full-time- Job Summary
- Acts as a liaison between medical staff and Patient Registration staff in the Emergency Department. Communicates potential conflicts or issues while fulfilling the expectations of the medical staff to the nursing staff in charge and/or manager. Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Patient Registration tasks including, but not limited to, patient registration, discharge activities, admissions which include EAUs, ED admissions, and Traumas. Performs Quality Assurance Activities, as indicated
- Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Prefer some college coursework in Business Administration; Allied Health or related area.
- Experience
- One (1) or more years of healthcare/office experience or equivalent combination of education experience.
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Certification in specialty preferred CHAM.
Location: Children's of Alabama · Patient Registration Therapies
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift, 7:00-3:30
