In Food Service at Main Campus McWane Building

Work schedule will be Full-time on the Rotating Shift, Rotation 7a-3:30p, 9a-5p, 11a-7:30p, rotate weekends and holidays.

Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations. Participates in the selection, development, evaluation and discipline of food service team members within hospital guidelines.

Other information:
Must have decision-making skills appropriate for the supervision of a large and complex department, as well as knowledge of a variety of types of food service equipment.
Must demonstrate positive interpersonal relations in dealing with members of the Health System staff, co-workers within the department, and patient's families to promote teamwork, efficiency and to provide quality service.
Must be able to write, read, speak and understand English.
Must have legible handwriting.
Computer skills required
Knowledge of basic mathematics, and ability to use a calculator is required
Knowledge of therapeutic diets is preferred

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* AL Food Handler

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* 5 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Hospitality Food Services
Nonessential:
* 2 Years Supervisor Level
