Work schedule will be 7on / 7off on the Evening Shift, 7on/7off Monday - Sunday - 3P-11:30P.
Summary:
Responsible for providing poison treatment and patient assessment information to general public, physicians and other health care providers.

The entry level Specialist in Poison Information (SPI) position has as a professional commitment standard, the achievement of AAPCC CSPI certification. The SPI will work diligently to attain CSPI eligibility, qualify for examination and pass the CSPI written examination. These professional achievements must occur within 3 examination attempts as described in the current AAPCC Accreditation Criteria. The achievement of these professional milestones is required of the SPI per our Center and AAPCC Regional Poison Center guidelines.

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
- Licensed Pharmacist
* Basic Life Support
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing or Bachelors of Science or Arts in Nursing
