Main Campus Children's of Alabama Day shift Cardiovascular Anesthesia Req #: chsys-34775-34917 Location Birmingham, Alabama Schedule Full-time- Job Summary
- Provides anesthesia care services for diverse neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology procedures under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
- Education
- Graduation from an approved program of nurse anesthesia accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor required.
- Experience
- Three years experience required with pediatrics preferred.
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Alabama RN License
- CRNA Certification by the Council on Certification/Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Alabama Board of Nursing Approval to Practice as a CRNA (Advanced Practice Category)
- Current Certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support are required.
