In Urology and Neurosurgery Clinic at Main Campus McWane Building

Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday - Friday.

Summary:
The clinician is a professional nurse who is an expert in the care of a specified patient population/subspecialty area. The clinician assumes a leadership role and supervisory responsibilities in the development, organization, and implementation of care services for the specified patient population.

Other information:
Previous demonstration of expert clinical management, teaching, research and consultation skills in the subspecialty population.

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
    - Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
    - Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
* Basic Life Support
Nonessential:
* Basic Life Support Instructor
* Certified Pediatric Nurse or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
    - Certified Pediatric Oncology Nurse
    - Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion
    - Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurse
    - Certified Nephrology Nurse
    - Certified Nurse Operating Room
    - Clinical Nurse Specialist
    - Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse
    - Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse
    - Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* 2 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Specialized

Includes the services of Board Certified Pediatric Genitourinary Surgeons, Board Certified Pediatric Neurological Surgeons, each with general appointments and unique areas of interests such as trauma, treatment and management of Urethral reflux, Hypospadias, Kidney Stones, Voiding Dysfunction, Spina Bifida, brain tumor management, hydrocephalus, Seizure Surgery, and Chiari management. Fellows, Residents, and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners provide care in these areas, under attending MD supervision.
