Work schedule will be Full-time on the Night Shift, 3 12-hours shifts per week, weekend rotations, call as needed.

Summary:
The Neurophysiology Technologist I is an entry level position in the Neurophysiology Department. A Neurophysiology Technologist I performs neurophysiology procedures (e.g. electroencephalograms). Technologists must be able to perform duties independently without the need for direct supervision. 

Other information:

Effective verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to relate to diverse age and demographic backgrounds. Be able to work independently using efficient time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Education

  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs(CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program, ABRET approved education program, or an Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

  • 6 months experience working in a patient care environment preferred

Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries

  • R. EEG T registry eligible preferred

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:

Nonessential:
* Registered EEG Technician

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Nonessential:
* Associates Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics Technology

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:

Nonessential:
* 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Laboratory Services
