Exercise Physiologist
Main Campus Children's of Alabama Day shift PT and OT Req #: chsys-34812-34947 Location Birmingham, Alabama Schedule On-call/Flexi- Job Summary
- • Provide exercise/fitness assessment and education to patients and families involved in a childhood obesity clinic at Children’s of Alabama.
- • Coordinate and deliver exercise prescriptions to meet individual patient needs.
- • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to deliver appropriate health and fitness interventions/strategies to promote improvements in child health and fitness.
- Education
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field
- • Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience
- One year of clinical experience with prior exposure to pediatrics preferred.
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- ACSM - EP (current or within 6 months of hire)
- Current BLS Certification
Location: Children's of Alabama · PT and OT
Schedule: On-call/Flexi, Day shift, 8:00am-4:30pm
