- As a Staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, in order to carry out the specific responsibilities outline below, the Vision of the Hospital: A BETTER CHILDHOOD FOR ALL CHILDREN, must be present. Contributing to the Hospital Mission - TO PROVIDE THE FINEST PEDIATRIC HEALTH SERVICES TO ALL CHILDREN IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT FOSTERS EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH AND MEDICAL EDUCATION. THE HOSPITAL WILL SERVE AS AN ADVOCATE FOR ALL CHILDREN AND WORK TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT ISSUES AFFECTING THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN - requires you to demonstrate integrity, teamwork, innovation, commitment to personal development, and a commitment to children.
- Education
- Graduation from an approved program of nurse anesthesia accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor required.
- Experience
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. .
- Certified/Recertified by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Current BLS certification required.
Location: Children's of Alabama · Anesthesia
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
