Work schedule will be Full Time on the Day shift, 7AM - 4PM.

Summary:
Works under the supervision of RNs and LPNs to provide assistive care and communication for patients, team members, professional, and technical staff, and visitors.

Other information:

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

• Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
• Current BLS certification required

Works under the supervision of RNs and LPNs to provide assistive care and communication for patients, team members, professional, and technical staff, and visitors.

Environmental Duties and Responsibilities

Environmental of Care (EOX) and safety rounds routinely as designed on EOC Round sheet and as needed.

Constantly active in keeping the work environment safe, neat and clutter free.

Takes action and/or notifies appropriate personnel of patient’s room and work area when not hazard free. 

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Basic Life Support

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Patient Care Support or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
    - Certified Nursing Assistant
    - Certified Medical Assistant AAMA
    - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
    - Certified Medical Assistant ARMA
    - Certified Patient Care Technician
    - Certified Emergency Medical Technician ADPH
