Assistant Psychology
Main Campus Children's of Alabama Day shift Behavioral Health Outpatient Ireland Center Req #: 325069 Location Birmingham, Alabama Schedule Full-time- Job Summary
- Will administer and score psychological test batteries evaluating cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, behavioral, and emotional status assisting psychologists, and other medical professionals in treatment decisions. Will also provide technical and patient care support to psychologists. Patients served are moderate to high level complexity and the position requires strong personal judgment, flexibility, and resourcefulness in decision-making. The Psychology Assistant will make determinations concerning whether patients are capable of responding to assessment protocols, and must be innovative in testing severely disabled, emotionally disturbed, hearing impaired or non-English speaking patients while still adhering to standardized procedures.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience
- Minimum of two years administering psychological or educational tests or a Psychology Assistant or similar position preferred.
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
Location: Children's of Alabama · Behavioral Health Outpatient Ireland Center
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift, 8am - 4:30pm
