In Strategic Communications and Marketing at Main Campus Lee Building

Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift shift, Mon-Fri.

Summary:

Serve as liaison between Children’s of Alabama (COA) and assigned COA-based medical divisions/services. Guide communications and marketing strategies and tactics for programs of assigned divisions/services that align with assigned divisions and COA. Provide coordination of marketing materials, patient education materials, seminars, and special meetings, in conjunction with strategic communications and division staff. Serve as the liaison to the Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) team for media, web site development and maintenance and various other communications/marketing collaterals in support of assigned divisions. Provide assistance with marketing and communication between COA-based divisions/programs and the referral community. 

Other information:

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.
Experience
  • Three or more years communications/marketing experience preferred, preferably in healthcare marketing and communications. High level of interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written); must have excellent organization skills with attention to detail and experience planning and implementing meetings and/or events.

Essential:
* Bachelors of Science or Arts in Marketing

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:

Nonessential:
* 3 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Marketing-Funding

Children's Strategic Communications & Marketing Department provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers in a variety of areas. SCM is responsible for generating and distributing timely and accurate information about Children's of Alabama. The department handles all of Children's public relations, media relations, public affairs, advertising, marketing and internal communications. The department also produces all printed materials for both on and off campus constituencies. Children's Strategic Communications and Marketing Department provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers in a variety of areas. Some of the services available include: Media Relations Social Media Strategy Content Creation Marketing Strategy and Campaigns Employee Communications Photography and Audio/Video Productions Print/Material Development Web Development Internships
